Contrabass.

Belgian, born in Brussels in 1959.

Started on piano at the age of 15. At 18 began guitar studies at the Academy in Uccle. Played rock bass guitar. When 20 began classical contrabass studies at the Academy, while playing jazz on stage.

A more ”classical” period then followed: extramural studies at the Conservatory of Mons; The Brussels Musical Youth Orchestra; The Youth Orchestra of the French-speaking Community (including a tour with Aga Winska - winner of the Reine Elisabeth Competition); operettas; chamber music; etc...

Returned to jazz in 1995.
